•This slide shows that the average ponding period for the pools
was much less in the grazing removal treatments versus the continuous grazed
(control) treatment.
•This result has the greatest implications for long-lived aquatic
invertebrate and vertebrate species.
•In particular, pools that dry before these species complete their life
cycles can have major negative impacts on their populations.
